Teosyal ReDensity 1 is a highly concentrated injectable Hyaluronic Acid.  It is given by multiple small superfical injections into the skin.  This results in small raised blebs which may take 24 hours to flatten down.  Within a few days, the skin feels softer and more hydrated.  ReDensity 1 may improve pore size, and it also makes fine lines look softer.

Improvement is often seen after one treatment, but the best results are seen with a course of 3 injections, spaced 3 - 4 weeks apart.  The skin feels plumper and less rough to touch.  The complexion looks brighter and fresher.  The benefits often last between 4 -6 months, after which the treatment may be repeated.

An advantage of ReDensity 1 is that it may be used to treat fine lines on the forehead.  It can be combined with Botox injections, to give a smooth finish.  However, some people choose to have treatment with ReDensity 1 on its own, as it doesn't affect the movement of the eyebrows and so looks very natural.

Treatment with ReDensity 1 is very simple.  An anaesthetic cream is applied to numb the skin, following which tiny superficial blebs of ReDensity 1, spaced 1 - 2cm apart, are injected in to the skin.  People can choose to treat a problem area using only 1ml of product, or the full face can be treated with 2mls.

ReDensity 1 is not a replacement for a Dermal Filler - it won't improve deep lines.  Instead, it deeply moisturises the skin making it feel more hydrated, giving a fresher, brighter complexion.

ReDensity 1 is most often used to treat the face, neck, decolletage and back of the hands.  As with all Cosmetic Treatments - ReDensity 1 should be avoided in pregnancy and during breast feeding.  Cosmetic Treatments are only offered to people aged 18 years and older.  Makeup, strenuous exercise and excessive alcohol should be avoided for 24 hours.  Sun exposure should be restricted for several weeks after treatment to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation.
